Just out of curiosity (mostly), what websites do you guys find most effective for research?

I do most of mine on baseball-reference, so I know they're great for historical rosters and playoff boxscores ...but does anybody know if there are any websites that archive game recaps or box scores/Gameday for regular seasons besides the current one? I'm starting a long story that starts in the 2002 season (major league-wise anyway) and I just find it much easier to write game situations if my dates and things that happen are accurate, you know?

I definitely use the same sites, Cassidy. My series has taken so long to write that I'm just *now* getting into 2003...so those sites are definitely a crutch for me. Sometimes I'll do a search on a player's name + whatever I might need as well.

We are obviously wise chicks with good taste. ;)

Oh yeah. I'm finding that ESPN archives game play-by-plays since 2002, which is exceedingly useful.
